Our Story
"The Doula Project Resource was birthed out of both pain and purpose. After losing my son, Mace, I knew God was calling me to create something bigger than myself — a legacy that would serve mothers, babies, and families for generations.What started as a vision has now grown into a collective of doulas across Florida and beyond, united to provide life-changing support to families who deserve to be heard, seen, and cared for. DPR is more than a program — it’s a movement, a family, and a promise that no mother walks alone."

Brittany Miller

I became a doula to witness God’s greatest miracle — new life — and to be the support system I wished I had during my own pregnancies. My passion lies in building relationships with mothers and babies, especially during postpartum. There is no greater joy for me than when a baby I’ve supported from birth recognizes me with their first smile. Each family I serve is a blessing, and I consider it an honor to walk with them through such sacred moments.

I became a doula after giving birth to my two sons — one in a hospital and one at home. Both experiences awakened me to the sacred, raw, and spiritual nature of the birthing journey. Today, I support mothers and families with grounded care, deep intuition, and a calming presence that honors both body and soul.
As a bilingual Afro-Latina mother and energy worker, I bring cultural understanding, compassion, and holistic support to every family I serve. Whether walking beside you through fertility, pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, I serve as your guide, your advocate, and a witness to your power as you birth not only new life — but also a new version of yourself.

I’m a Registered Nurse and Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula with hands-on experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care. By combining my clinical nursing background with personalized doula support, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.
My passion is helping parents feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way through education, advocacy, and individualized care tailored to their unique needs.
Now serving families in Dothan, Alabama, surrounding Southeast Alabama communities, the Florida Panhandle, and virtually nationwide.

Every family I support strengthens my calling and inspires me to keep pouring into this sacred work.
